A backlog that needs to move
An API or integration is sitting in the backlog, but you do not want to interrupt the core product team.
API/INTEGRATION/EXECUTION/REAL BUSINESS OUTCOMES
A focused execution model for technical leaders who need a defined API, backend or integration work package completed quickly, professionally and without distracting the internal team.
01The right fit
An API or integration is sitting in the backlog, but you do not want to interrupt the core product team.
You need short-term backend or integration capacity without starting a hiring cycle.
A defined work package needs to be completed quickly and quietly inside your department or company.
A third-party system, vendor or platform needs to be connected outside the normal focus of your engineers.
An existing API or integration needs to be repaired, completed or handed over properly.
You want one accountable external party to take a small technical package from scope to professional handover.
02Capabilities
Design and implementation of defined API services.
Connecting internal systems, SaaS platforms and third-party services.
Defined backend work packages outside the normal focus of an internal product team.
Taking partially completed or problematic integrations through to proper completion.
Documentation, setup, testing and knowledge transfer appropriate to the project scope.
03How we work
A delivery model optimized for focused, short-duration technical work packages.
Understand exactly what needs to be built, integrated, repaired or completed.
Review systems, APIs, requirements, dependencies and constraints.
Confirm the scope, estimated duration and proposed execution start date.
Complete the agreed technical package.
Validate the deliverable against the agreed scope.
Provide code, documentation and agreed technical handover material.
The delivery plan and timing are confirmed after scope assessment.
04Professional handover
Every completed engagement includes a professional handover package appropriate to the scope. This can include:
KZ1 does not design engagements around vendor lock-in.
The first 12 months of corrective maintenance are included for defects and technical issues within the agreed scope.
Enhancements, new development, additional integrations, change requests and new features are outside this included corrective maintenance.
05A working relationship
KZ1 does not aim to be a one-off vendor. If mutual trust is established, the goal is to become a trusted tactical execution partner for fast, well-defined technical needs and, over time, a strategic technical partner.
